Clubs

At Knypersley First School all children are encouraged to take part in clubs and we hope that they will enjoy the extra-curricular activities being offered this term.

Please see the information on this page regarding clubs that are open for applications. If you cannot see a club on Arbor that is advertised, it may already be full or may have started in a previous term.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You will be informed via Arbor when applications for clubs will be open. You will not see the option to register for clubs on Arbor until applications are open. If you are able to register for a club and it appears on your child's account, please take this as confirmation of their place.

Swimming- If you register for swimming club, you will be charged the block fee of £35 via Arbor. This will need to be paid by midday on the school day before their first session. Any unpaid places at this point will be offered to the next child on the wait list. You will not be refunded for any missed sessions. This is due to the cost of running these sessions and to enable us to keep the cost to parents per block as low as possible.

You may see a club on your Arbor that does not appear on the timetable below. This is because we sometimes operate invitation only clubs in response to the needs of smaller groups of children. You are welcome to apply for any clubs that are on Arbor even if they are not advertised on the whole school timetable.

Please inform us as soon as possible if your child will not be attending a club that you have registered for. There may be another child that would be happy to take their place.

Most clubs will run for half a term with the exception of  swimming which will run in 10 week blocks. Please check Arbor for specific information regarding the clubs that you have registered for. Clubs that are in place to prepare for an event such as Young Voices will run until the event.

We keep a register of children attending clubs. If your child cannot attend a club for any reason please ensure that the member of staff running the club knows. School will contact parents if a club has to be unavoidably cancelled.
